Further to yesterday’s announcement of KenolKobil’s award of the Kenya Oil Industry Open Tender System (OTS) tender for delivery of two Murban Crude Oil Cargoes totalling to 160,000 MT (1.2 Million Barrels) in August this year, KenolKobil was also awarded the OTS tender for delivery of 50,000 MT of Premium Motor Gasoline (PMS) and 30,704 MT of Automotive Gasoil (AGO) in August and July respectively. The company won the two tenders through its competitive bidding at the OTS.

The two refined product cargoes totalling 80,704MT will be used to meet the country’s PMS and AGO requirements and will be discharged at the KPC Kipevu Oil Storage Facility in Mombasa.

Through active and competitive participation in the OTS, KenolKobil seeks to cement its support for the Government’s efforts to meet the Country’s Oil requirements for the benefit of the Kenyan economy, as well as the neighbouring countries.
