We were set up in February 2006 after the acquisition of Shell Rwanda SARL as a going concern.

We are Rwanda’s leading petroleum marketer. We control the biggest market share and have the most expansive retail network in the country.
We were set up in February 2006 after the acquisition of Shell Rwanda SARL as a going concern. Operations commenced soon after the acquisition with a re-branding exercise. Ever since, we continue to grow our asset base through acquisitions.

In addition to enlarging our asset base, we are able to grow our presence in Rwanda due to our innovative products. Recently, we commissioned LPG storage and filling plant in Kigali. In addition, we launched the I-Fuel, our electronic fuel management system.

In addition to serving the domestic market, we are the KenolKobil Group designated export route to neighboring Eastern DRC and the larger Central Africa region.

Rwanda is currently experiencing an economic boom thanks to sound economic management by the current Government. We are therefore positioning ourselves to take advantage of the improving business environment.
