The KenolKobil Group is in the process of establishing business in Zimbabwe and Mozambique

In July 2010, the KenolKobil Group registered a company, Kobil Mozambique Limitada, in Mozambique and subsequently set up an office in Harare, Zimbabwe to oversee business developments in both Mozambique and Zimbabwe. In Zimbabwe, the KenolKobil Group earlier in 2009 entered into partnership with Engen to jointly acquire operations of Shell and BP but the deal encountered roadblocks arising from regulations in the National Indigenization and Economic Empowerment Act. This notwithstanding, the KenolKobil Group continues to prospect for investment opportunities in Zimbabwe.
